Funeral services will be held Friday, September 23, 2016, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Baldwin during an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian burial for Patricia “Pat” Guillotte Mora, a native of Franklin and lifelong resident of Baldwin who passed away at the age of 68 on Sunday, September 18, 2016, at Iberia Medical Center following a brief illness. She will be laid to rest in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Father Cedric Sonnier will be the Celebrant for the Mass and conduct the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Mestayer, Ronnie Guillotte, O’Neil Darden Sr., O’Neil Darden Jr., Tony Scelfo, and Donnie Coots.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, September 22, at Ibert’s Mortuary from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., with the Holy Rosary being prayed at 7 p.m., led by Fr. Sonnier. Visitations will resume Friday at the church at 9 a.m. and continue until time of Mass.
Survivors include her daughter, Tricia Mora Mestayer and her husband, Randy; three siblings, Allen J. “Pummy” Guillotte Jr. and his companion, Judy Simoneaux; Ronnie Guillotte, and Connie Guillotte Darden and her husband, O’Neil Darden Sr.; two nephews, Steven Guillotte and his wife, Mindy; and O’Neil Darden Jr. and his wife, Tessa; one niece, Pamela Darden; one great-niece, Kaitlyn Guillotte; one great-nephew, Addison Neil Darden; her former mother-in-law, Hazel Mora; and family friend, Rose Migues.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen J. Guillotte and Thelma Hebert Guillotte; and one sister, Pamela Marie Guillotte.
