Faith Enez Belanger Guidry, 91, a resident of Bayou Vista, passed away today, Friday, Aug. 26, 2016, in her home surrounded by loved ones.
She was born March 3, 1925, in Belle River, the daughter of Felix Belanger and Louise Fouriner Belanger.
Faith will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. She touched many lives with her kindness, love and compassion. Her selfless giving inspired others to give. Her strong faith in God guided her and strengthened her. She served over 25 years of work at Church of God of Prophesy until her health declined.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ashley Joseph Guidry; parents, Felix Belanger and Louise Fouriner Belanger; brother, Arthur Belanger; and sisters, Ethel Vaughn, Emma Dell Gaspar and Laura Cloutier.
Visitation will be held at Twin City Funeral Home on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016, from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. A funeral service officiated by Pastor John Istre will begin at 10 a.m. Faith will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following services.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to her caregivers, Shamaka Garrett, Debbie Bonner, Tammy Williams, Eloise Verrett, Diane Martin and Ruthie Comeaux, and the staff of Heart of Hospice.

Gregory “Greg” Robert O’Neill, 70, of Morgan City, passed away Saturday evening Aug. 20, 2016, at Ochsner Medical Center in Kenner.
Greg was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on May 28, 1946. Being the son of a father who was in the United States Air Force, he was raised on SAC bases around the world. He loved his son Colin, cars, playing blues music, and guitars. He worked in the oilfield as a welding inspector for many years.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his lifelong friend, William “Bill” Dettleff of Fenton, Missouri; as well as his friend and former spouse, Melanie O’Neill of Kenner.
Greg was preceded in death by his son, Colin Shea O’Neill; his parents, Lucille Austermann O’Neill and Gerald Robert O’Neill; and his grandmother, Betty Wolfe.
Greg was also fortunate to have wonderful neighbors who provided much assistance to him over the years.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016, at Twin City Funeral Home, with a memorial visitation being held from 2 p.m. until the time of the memorial service.
Memorial contributions may be given in Greg’s name to The Pharr Chapel, Music Studio, 517 Federal Ave., Morgan City, LA 70380, in honor of his love of music.

Mazel Edna Loupe, a native of Bayou Chene and a resident of Morgan City, passed away Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016, at the age of 84.
Mazel leaves to cherish her memory, her two daughters, Sharon Sweetser and her husband, Charles II, and Barbara Daigle and her husband, Nelson; 11 grandchildren, Angela Anslum and her husband, Eddie, Charles Sweetser III, Joe Cavalier and his wife, Shantell, Brett Bourgeois and his fiancé, Tally, Jennifer Bourgeois, Laci Bourgeois, Candace Strickland, Chris Loupe Jr., Jeremy Loupe, Josh Loupe, and Cody Loupe; 22 great-grandchildren, Eddie Anslum Jr., Brodie Anslum, Ashley Cavalier, Andrew Cavalier, Breanna Bourgeois, Matthew Bourgeois, Darby Frickey, Kameron Francis, Ka’Miah Francis, Josh Bergeron, Tre Cleveland, Elijah Cleveland, Alyssa Strickland, Trinity Valentine, De’Angelo Valentine, Krislyn Vining, Jace Loupe, Journi Loupe, Chris Loupe III, Ava Loupe, Bailee Loupe, and Emma Loupe; and one sister, Norma Hotard.
She joined in heaven her husband, Floyd Loupe; her parents, Theodore “Dote” and Azelia Lacoste; two children, Mary Strickland and Chris Loupe Sr.; and her brother, Jerrel LaCoste.
Mazel was known for her enthusiasm during the Christmas season. Her home was always lit up and decorated each and every year. Besides Christmas, she also immensely enjoyed putting a fishing pole in the water and reeling in catfish. Mazel and her husband once owned a shrimp boat named after her daughter, Lil Mary, and together the two would go out among the waterways to commercial fish.
The family requests that visitation be observed Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and again on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016, from 8 a.m. until time of dismissal at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place following visitation on Wednesday, Aug. 31 at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Morgan City. Mazel will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.

Roland Tabor, 88, born in Patterson, Louisiana, and a native of Gibson, Louisiana, passed away Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
One of Roland’s favorite things to do was bagging oranges from his orange tree, to give them away to his family and friends. Roland also enjoyed fishing. More than the things he enjoyed in his spare time, he loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and the times he spent with them.
Roland is survived by two sons, Cornelius Tabor Jr. and his wife, Tina, of Harvey, Louisiana, and Thomas Tabor of Gibson; three brothers, Budd Tabor, Zack Tabor and Rufus Tabor, all of Amelia, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Shantell Cavalier and her husband, Joe, Star Stone and her husband, Boyd, Henry Tabor Jr., Stacey Tabor, Amber Anslum, Jacqueline Tabor, Brian Lombas, Jacelyn Daigle, P.J. Tabor Jr., Tayla Tabor and April Tabor; and his great-grandchildren, Ashley, Andrew, Eric, Jordin, Kasidy, Tré, Haylie, Kameron, MacKinsey and Brayden.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Marie Boudoin Tabor; his parents, Joseph Verna and Meder Tabor; his sons, Eric Tabor, Henry Tabor Sr. and Perry Tabor Sr.; and a number of brothers and sisters.
A time of visitation and reflection was held Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016, from 9 a.m. until services at 2 p.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City. Following services, Roland was laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.

Funeral services will be held today, Monday, Aug. 29, 2016, at Hargrave Funeral Home. A memorial time of visitation will be held at 5 p.m. with a memorial service taking place at 7 p.m. to celebrate the life of Debra Jones MacConnell, a longtime resident of Berwick, who passed away Friday, Aug. 26, 2016, at the age of 60. Dismissal will follow at 9 p.m.
Debra was a loving wife, mother, aunt, sister and friend to many. She worked alongside her husband, Brian MacConnell, at the Petroleum Club of Morgan City, where she enjoyed seeing so many residents and friends of the Tri-City community. She enjoyed participating in local Mardi Gras krewes and other community events. Debra and Brian have enjoyed traveling together over the recent years.
Survivors include her husband, Brian MacConnell Sr.; her son, Brian MacConnell II and his wife, Macy; her sister, Sherry Breaux and brother-in-law, Dale Breaux; her brother, Kevin Jones; and several nieces and nephews who knew that Debra was the coolest aunt ever.
She was preceded in death by her parents, June and Ken Hidalgo; and her mother-in-law, Leigh MacConnell.

Talley O. “Tod” Dosier, 69, a resident of Berwick, passed away Friday, Aug. 26, 2016, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Tod was born May 29, 1947, in New Orleans, the son of Talley Marvin Dosier and Hazel Marie Kebodeaux Dosier.
Tod was a gentle, kind, and loving man who never met a stranger. He was a faithful member of Bethel Pentecostal Fellowship for over 35 years. In his younger days, Tod enjoyed being in the outdoors fishing. His two grandsons, Morgan and Taylor, were his pride and joy.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter, Marcy Hartmeyer and husband Jeffrey of Smiths Grove, Kentucky; two grandsons, Morgan Hartmeyer of Fort Campbell, Kentucky and Taylor Hartmeyer and wife Carmen of New Iberia; one great-grandson on the way!; and one sister, Margaret Jane Burguieres and husband William of Jacksonville, Florida.
Tod was preceded in death by his parents, Talley Martin Dosier and Hazel Marie Kebodeaux Dosier; and his loving wife, Suzanne F. Dosier.
The family would like to thank the staff of St. Joseph Hospice for the wonderful care that they gave to Mr. Tod.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016, at Bethel Pentecostal Fellowship with the Rev. Marty Harden officiating. A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. today, Monday, Aug. 29, 2016, at Twin City Funeral Home. The visitation will resume from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at Bethel Pentecostal Fellowship. Following services, Tod will be laid to rest in Ibert’s Memorial Park Cemetery.

Sterling Adam Scully, 52, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016.
Scully is survived by his son, Cory Scully of Patterson; three daughters, Sabrina Scully of Morgan City, Lacey Scully of Morgan City and Christian Cuvillier of Wagner, Oklahoma; two brothers, Edward Scully Jr. of Amelia and Anthony Scully Sr. of Amelia; and two grandchildren.
Scully was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Iva Watts Addison passed away at home on Sunday, August 28, 2016 surrounded by her family following a courageous, three year battle against a rare form of cancer, Leiomyosarcoma. She was 72 years old. Following cremation there will be a private family memorial service.
A native of Columbia, MS, Iva relocated to Franklin, in 1967. A resident of St. Mary Parish for 49 years, she truly loved the State of Louisiana and called Franklin the prettiest town she had ever seen.
Iva is survived by her husband of 45 years, Rupert Addison, her devoted caretaker throughout her illness; her daughter, Debbie Richard Deslatte and husband, Buck; her son, Michael Richard; her grandchildren, “My Angels,” as she liked to say and whom they called “My GaGa,” James Deslatte and wife, Nicole; Derek Deslatte and wife, Senette; Samantha Richard and Rachelle Richard; her great grandchildren, who also loved their GaGa, Collin, Madelyn, Chloe, Bailey and Ivy; two siblings, her brother, Elvin Watts; and her sister, Sue Nell Baughman; and her many wonderful nieces, nephews and good friends.
Iva was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis L. and Ethel Holmes Watts; daughter in law, Linda Carline Richard; three sisters, Adean Allen, Ruby Jewell Ezzell, and Tressie Lee Bass; and three brothers, Jack Watts, James “Jim” Watts, and Neville Watts.
Known to so many as “Sam” the waitress, her love of waiting tables began 49 years ago. Her welcoming smile, energetic walk, quick wit, and sassiness always left you wanting to see her again. Always happy while getting ready for work and although tired when the shift was over, she couldn’t wait to replay her day for her family. That love of hosting did not stop at The Forest. Iva loved to entertain visitors at her home, whether you were stopping by for a minute or staying a few days, you left wanting to visit again soon.
The family would like to thank all of you who reached out to her through phone calls, visits, cards and Facebook during the past three years. Please know they were treasured moments that made her days brighter. She loves all of you. George A. Hebert was a native of Franklin and a longtime resident of Charenton, who passed away at the age of 55 on Sunday, August 28, 2016, at his home with his family at his side.
Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Angela Clements Hebert; two children, Nicole H. DeHart and her husband, Quinn; and Taylor Hebert; four grandchildren, Kalyn, Landen, Cadence and Jayden; and two brothers, Alvin A. Hebert Jr. and Warren Hebert.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin A. Hebert Sr. and Florence Funk Hebert; and his sister, Elizabeth Hebert.
George was a longtime employee of Cox, where he has worked since the early days of TCA Cable. In his earlier years he enjoyed gardening and has been a huge fan of Classic Rock Music his entire life. He also loved working on home projects, fixing things and tinkering with odds and ends.
A time of remembrance will be held at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. A private inurnment will be held at a later date.

Jeanerette - Masonic funeral services will be held for Mr. Hardie Dean Kent, 75, on Thursday September 1, 2016, at 11 a.m., at Beau Pre Memorial Park with Brother Bobby Hodnett to serve as the Celebrant. Masonic Rites will be conducted by members of the Franklin Masonic Lodge. Full Military Gravesite Honors will be conducted by the United States Army.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m., at Beau Pre Memorial Park and conclude at the time of service.
A native of Marks, MS and longtime resident of Jeanerette, Mr Kent passed away on Saturday August 27, 2016 at 6 p.m., at a local nursing home. Mr. Hardie was born to Louis and Mildred Wigg Kent on September 4, 1940. After graduating from Leland High School in Leland, MS, he joined the United States Army to proudly serve his country. During his 20 year career in the Army, Mr. Kent was a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division and completed 3 tours of duty as a medic during the Vietnam War and earned a Bronze Star. He also received training as a Licensed Practical Nurse. In 1979, Mr. Hardie received an honorable discharge, retiring with the rank of Sergeant First Class.
After retiring from the military, he worked offshore as a medic in the oil industry until his retirement. Mr. Hardie was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Jeanerette. He also sang and was a member at Little Pass Baptist Church in Charenton and enjoyed singing in the choir at First United Methodist Church of Franklin. Mr. Hardie became a Master Mason in September of 1984 and was also a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason, a member of the Knights Templar in the York Rite, a past Master of the Jeanerette Masonic Lodge #255, and a member of the Franklin Masonic Lodge #57. He participated in many Masonic charities and was a part of the Franklin Lodge earning the Mark Twain Award in 2011-2012 which was the first time a lodge in Louisiana had earned it in 7 years. In his spare time, Mr. Hardie enjoyed cooking and visiting with family and friends and helping others in the community. His kind heart and good nature made him a great husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 46 years, Joy Jacob Kent of Jeanerette; daughter, Laura Kent Atkins and husband, Sam of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren, Jacob Atkins, attending Ole Miss at Oxford, MS; Camille Atkins and Cade Atkins, both of Huntsville, AL; one sister, Becky Breckenridge and husband, George of Amarillo, TX; and one brother, Frank Kent and wife, Brenda of Jonesboro, GA.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dan Kent.

Linda Carline Richard passed away at her home on August 26, 2016, surrounded by her family. She was 52 years old. Following cremation there will be a private family memorial service.
As a native of Centerville, Linda met her high school sweetheart and husband, Mike Richard. They achieved their dream of living on the beach and starting a family in Corpus Christi, TX, where they resided for 13 years. In 1999, she and her family relocated back home to Louisiana where, for the last five years, she and her husband shared their “little piece of heaven” at their camp in Breaux Bridge on the Bayou Teche.
Linda is survived by her husband of 35 years, Mike Richard; her daughters, Samantha and Rachelle Richard; her mother, Marietta Carline; and eight siblings: William Carline, Timmy Carline, Carey Carline, Kathy Rhodes, Alice Rauch, Bonnie Williams, Pamela Brice, and Patrice Carline; along with her many wonderful nieces, nephews, and great friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, Lewis Ray Carline; her brother, Thomas Carline; and her mother in-law, Iva “Sam” Addison.
Linda especially loved giving back to her community. She challenged herself by going back to school in her 40’s to pursue an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, She fully devoted herself to enriching the lives of special-needs children in the Lafayette School District, and she knew how to bring a smile to every child.
Like her spirit, she surrounded herself with all of the colors that life has to offer and shared them with everyone who came across her path. Always traveling with gift in tow, Linda was known for doing whatever she could to brighten up someone’s day, even if it was just with her radiant smile.
In honor of Linda’s unconditional love for children with special needs, the family asks donations to the Autism Society of Acadiana in lieu of flowers. The family would also to thank Heart of Hospice for all of the tremendous care, love, and support graciously provided throughout her journey.

Funeral services for Lula Mae Dugas Peterson will be held Saturday, September 3, 2016 in Franklin at the Church of the Assumption during an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian burial. She will be laid to rest in the Franklin Cemetery Mausoleum. Father Lloyd Benoit will be the Celebrant for the Mass and conduct the services.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin from 8:30 a.m. until time of dismissal, with the rosary being prayed at 9:45 a.m.
Lula Mae was born in Charenton on October 30, 1925, the fourth of five children born to the late Alcee Dugas and the late Drucille Dugas. She was a former longtime resident •f Franklin and-has resided in Gonzales for the past 12 years, where she passed away at the age of 90 on Tuesday morning, August 30, 2016.
Survivors include her children, Crystal P. Lanclos and her husband, Murphy; Mark G. Peterson and his wife, Cindy; Lisa P. Lee and her husband, Billy; and Eric J. Peterson and his wife, Ivy; 11 grandchildren, Todd Landry, Kelly White, Justin Lanclos, Ashley Wright, Ryan Peterson, Stephanie McKay, Bradley Pellerin II, Nathan Lee, Nicholas Lee, Erica Guiberteau, and Danielle Prestridge; and 22 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold A. Peterson and her four siblings, Cline Dugas, Odette D. Bonds, Elmo Dugas, and Ruby D. Breaux.

Pamela “Pam” Marie Rhodes Bordelon, 59, a resident of Berwick, passed away at her home on Monday, Aug. 29, 2016, surrounded by her family.
She was born Nov. 1, 1956, in Morgan City, the daughter of Davis Rhodes and Sylvia Estave Rhodes.
Pam was a unique individual with a passion for fun. She enjoyed sewing, tending to her flower beds, collecting dolls, rooting for the New Orleans Saints or LSU Tigers, watching professional wrestling, shopping for antiques, and taking trips to Houma. In her earlier years, she enjoyed attending drag races.
Pam also loved the Lord. She was a parishioner of Holy Cross Catholic Church, where she served as a Eucharistic minister and taught Catechism classes. However, her greatest love was her family. She enjoyed their family gatherings which gave her an opportunity to share her famous bread pudding. Pam was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend whose memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of eight years, Wiley Bordelon of Berwick; children, Jennifer Holt and husband Ben of Denham Springs, Jason Cheek and wife Amy of Baton Rouge, and Joel Cheek and wife Sheila of Denham Springs; stepchildren, Stephen Bordelon and companion Brandie LeBlanc of Gibson, Amanda Manual and husband Randy of Morgan City, Jason Bordelon and companion Brandie Rowe of Amelia, and Jennifer Coburn and husband Chris of Monroe; brothers, Clyde Rhodes and wife Nancy, Kenneth Rhodes and wife Betsy, Nathan Rhodes, and Kim Rhodes and wife Cynthia; sisters, Dolores Fears and husband Keith, and Rebecca Kuhn and husband Darrell; grandchildren, Grace, Emma, Caleb, Caitlyn, Lucy, Caroline, Tyler, Noah, Hendrix, Aidan, Elizah, Maddox, Jacob and Dylan; and numerous extended family.

Visitation services will be held today, Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016, at Twin City Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. The Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016, at Twin City Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at Holy Cross Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Pam will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following Mass.

Letha Mae Dauphine, 60, a resident and native of Franklin, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at 9:13 p.m., at her residence.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Jones Funeral Home in Franklin, from 10 a.m. until funeral services at 2 p.m. Burial will follow funeral services in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Franklin. Archbishop Willie Ross will officiate the services.

Delvin Lashawn Guy, 27, a resident of Youngsville, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 9:50 a.m., at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette.
Visitation will be observed Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the New Life Christian Center, 207 Bayard Street in New Iberia, from 10 a.m. until funeral services at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Arthur Lee Alexander and the Rev. Chester Hills officiating the services. Burial will follow in the Heavenly Rest Cemetery of Jeanerette.

Kirt Douglas Matthews, 59, a resident of New Iberia and native of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at 6 p.m., at AMG Specialty Hospital in Lafayette following a short illness
Visitations will be observed Saturday, Sept. 3, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at St. Joseph Baptist Church in Franklin.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at the church, with the Rev. Ronald C. Young officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lori (Roosevelt Jr.) Overton of Houston, TX and Ms. Kristi Matthews of Atlanta, GA; one brother, Mr. Dewitt Matthews of New Iberia; one sister, Ms. Delilah Matthews of New Iberia; and three grandchildren, Lauren Johnson, Mycha Davis and Zion Overton, all of Houston, TX.
Mr. Matthews was preceded in death by his wife, mother, grandparents, brothers and sisters.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.

David Nicholas Arcemont, 67, a resident of Morgan City, went to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016.
David was born Sept. 17, 1948, in Morgan City, the son of Nick Joseph Arcemont Sr. and Olive Landry Arcemont. David was the eldest son of 10 siblings.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years, Lauren Melancon Arcemont of Morgan City; two sons, David C. Arcemont and wife Andree of Plano, Texas and Mark J. Arcemont and Trey Hammett of Dallas; four grandchildren, Madison Arcemont, Mackenzie Arcemont, Grayson Arcemont and Hadley Arcemont; also surviving are seven siblings.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Nick Joseph Arcemont Sr. and Olive Landry Arcemont; one sister, Maria Arcemont; and one brother, Jude Arcemont.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Wilfredo Decal officiating. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. with the rosary being prayed at 11 a.m. Following Mass, David will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
His family requests in lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Central Catholic High School.

Joyce Marie Hernandez Melancon, 96, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Joyce was born Jan. 26, 1920, in Donaldsonville, the daughter of Camille S. Hernandez and Mary Ramirez Hernandez.
Joyce was a faithful parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Ladies Altar Society and the Samaritan’s Bereavement Group.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by four children, Karen Loupe and husband Donald of Morgan City, Lauren Arcemont of Morgan City, Paula Goulas of Bayou Vista, and Kevin Melancon and wife Noel Steffes of Baton Rouge; 11 grandchildren, Lisa Chiasson and husband Mitch, Gina Dupuis and husband Mike, Maria Barbier and husband Dwayne, Don Loupe and wife Catherine, Christina Prather and husband Eric, David C. Arcemont and wife Andree, Mark Arcemont and Trey Hammett, Kelli Zerangue and husband Scottie, Chad Goulas and wife Rebekah, Kristen Miller and husband Chad, and Brian Melancon; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Camille S. Hernandez and Mary Ramirez Hernandez; husband, George Melancon; four brothers; and two sons-in-law, David Arcemont and Dannie Goulas.
The family would like to thank the staff of Journey Hospice as well as Divinity Home Health for the care that they gave Ms. Joyce.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 5, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Wilfredo Decal officiating. A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass. After Mass, Joyce will be laid to rest in the Ascension Catholic Cemetery in Donaldsonville.
