Ora Mae Johnson Poindexter, 51, a native of Gibson and resident of Houma, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Dularge Community Baptist Church in Houma. Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery.
She is survived by two stepsons, Donald Poindexter Jr. and Aaron Steverson, both of Morgan City; brothers, Earl Hasley Sr. of Morgan City, Aaron Watson Sr. of Chauvin and Karo Johnson of Gray; and sisters, Bobby J. Robinson and Geneva Diggs of Gray, Aline Johnson of Gibson and Matte Londo of New Iberia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers, sisters, maternal grandparents, and paternal grandparents.
